By now, you may have received various calls, text messages, and emails from various public and private organizations issuing emergency alert information for our area.
Be aware that these type of weather events often present unexpected flooding situations which are not common in our area.
Please exercise caution and pay attention to alerts and possible flooding before venturing out.
In preparation for inclement weather that is expected to reach LA County this Sunday due to tropical storm Hilary, I would like to share tips and resources to help you stay safe and prepared.

We also ask that residents and boaters stay away from the coast as this storm moves in. Also, as a reminder, please stay away from LA County waterways and river channels during and after storms. Swift-moving water can be dangerous.
