Wiseburn Watch Meeting – Dec 8 – Preferential Parking District

Please join us next Wednesday for a special Wiseburn Watch Meeting where we will have LA County representatives talk to us about it Wiseburn Waking Path and details about establishing a Preferential Parking District.

  • Cabrillo Elementary Performing Arts Center (PAC) at 5309 W 135th St, Hawthorne, CA 90250 in-person (web-meeting link provided day of event for virtual attendees)

  • LA County Parks and Rec who manages our Wiseburn Walking Path  introduction

  • Representatives from the  Department of Public Works talking to us about what it takes to establish a Preferential Parking District

  • We will be collecting toys for the LA County Sheriff’s Holiday Drive – please bring any toy donations wrapped/sealed to the meeting

WM Annual Clean Up- Saturday, October 2nd, 2021

Waste Management should have added the attached newsletter to your invoices, it has 2 key dates for Wiseburn:


  • Free Annual Clean-up Event for areas with Monday pick-up day (Wiseburn) — up to 20 items at no additional cost on the curb by 6AM on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021
  • Free Christmas Tree and foliage collection (bare trees and foliage cut into shorter than 6 foot sections) on the curb next to trash on regular collection days.  Collection will be from December 26, 2021 through January 14, 202

Save the date: Let’s Taco bout a Wiseburn Meet ‘N Greet- Aug 28 from 5 PM – 7 PM

Our community clean up was put on hold until the Fall whe can get some help from WM for extra trash pickup, we also don’t yet have a school facility for a regular in-person meeting.

So let’s Taco bout a Wiseburn community Summer Meet ‘N Greet tonget together and mark the end of Summer.
